Contouring

We’ve told you all about highlighting your face, so now let’s turn our attention to contouring.

What is contouring?

Opposite of highlighting, contouring is to define and shape the face and to make it look like your ideal shape, pulling in features rather than receding and bringing them out like we do with highlighting.

Blending your product is important to keep your look natural and day-wear ready.

Key things to know when…CONTOURING!

PLACEMENT

Placement is key when contouring your face, and the areas to apply your contour are:

  • Sides of the nose
  • Hollows of the cheeks
  • Jaw line
  • Under the chin
  • Along the hairline- if you want your forehead to look smaller
  • Crease of the eye
